Privacy Notice

Discretion is fundamental to how we work. Client names, holdings, valuations and transaction details are never shared, published or sold.

This notice explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to enquiries, appraisals, appointments and purchases arranged through it.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to answer you and complete a transaction.

  • Identifiers you give us: name, email address, telephone number and shipping address
  • Details of your enquiry: the piece you are interested in, items you wish to sell, appraisal or appointment details and any photographs you send
  • Order and payment information, processed by our commerce provider — full card numbers never reach our systems
  • Technical information created automatically when you browse: device type, browser, pages viewed and approximate location derived from your network address

How we use it

To respond to enquiries, arrange appointments, evaluate pieces you wish to sell, fulfil and insure orders, prevent fraud, keep required transaction records and — only if you have asked — to send occasional news from Anna Lee.

We do not use automated decision-making, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Sharing

We share information only with the providers who make the business run: our commerce and payment platform, shipping and insurance carriers, appraisal and authentication partners, email and calendar providers, and professional advisers. Each is bound to use it only for the service they provide to us. We also disclose information where the law requires it.

We do not sell personal information for money. Some analytics and advertising cookies may be treated as “sharing” or “targeted advertising” under state law, and you can switch those off at any time.

Cookies and your choices

Strictly necessary cookies keep the shopping bag, security and checkout working. Optional analytics and advertising cookies are used only with your permission, which you can give or withdraw from the privacy banner or the Your Privacy Choices page.

We honor Global Privacy Control and similar universal opt-out browser signals automatically.

Your rights by state

Residents of states with a comprehensive consumer privacy law have the rights listed below. We extend the same rights to every visitor, wherever you live.

  • Know what personal information we collect and how it is used
  • Access and obtain a portable copy of your personal information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Delete personal information we hold about you
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising
  • Appeal a decision we make about a privacy request
  • Be free from discrimination for exercising any of these rights

State-specific notices

California: you have the right to know, delete, correct and opt out of sale/sharing, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and to be free from retaliation. We have not sold or shared personal information for money in the past twelve months, and we do not knowingly sell the information of anyone under 16. Categories collected in the past twelve months: identifiers, customer records, commercial information, internet activity and geolocation inferred from network address; each is retained only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as records law requires.

Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Minnesota, Maryland, Rhode Island, Kentucky, Indiana, Iowa, Tennessee, Florida and Utah: you may access, correct, delete and obtain a copy of your data, and opt out of targeted advertising and profiling. You may appeal any decision by replying to our response.

Nevada: you may submit a verified request that we not sell your covered information.

Washington and Nevada health data laws: we do not collect consumer health data.

EEA, UK and Switzerland: we process your data to perform a contract, to meet legal obligations, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in running the business — and on consent where required. You may object, restrict processing, withdraw consent and complain to your supervisory authority.

Security and retention

Information is held on access-controlled systems with encryption in transit, and kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required for tax, insurance and anti-money-laundering records.
